Odessa Office

Our Odessa office is permanently closed.

Oil field sunsetDr. Thomas was a presence in the Permian Basin for over 12 years. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Thomas ceased traveling to Odessa in March 2020. Dr. Thomas and staff want to emphasize how important the people of Midland/Odessa were to the practice and how beloved our patients are! Thank you for the many years of support. We still have a handful of patients that travel from the Permian Basin to see Dr. Thomas in his Greenville, Texas location. If we can be of service to you in any way, please let us know.

In 2007, there was a strong demand for orthopedic surgeons specializing in worker’s compensation injuries. Many other physicians in the Permian Basin were not interested in working with worker’s comp injuries. Dr. Thomas saw the need, though, and stepped in to help those patients with job-related or other orthopedic extremity injuries.

Dr. Thomas specializes in knees, hip, and shoulders, with total joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures being a large part of his practice. He does see other body parts and injuries (if you aren’t sure if Dr. Thomas is the right doctor for treating your injury, please give us a call at 903-454-7555). The hallmarks of Dr. Thomas’ care are his compassionate bedside manner and kindness. In addition, he offers patients years of experience and skill regarding orthopedic needs, treatment, and surgical procedures.

Job-related injuries are Dr. Thomas’ specialty in the Midland/Odessa region. We know how vitally important it is to get the patient back to work as soon as possible. Working with the patient and their family allows for the best results and recovery. Our office also works closely with the employer and/or insurance company to smooth the way for the best care.

Our Odessa office is located at 1220 W. University Blvd., Odessa, Texas 79764 inside the Westview Medical Clinic. Please call 903-454-7555 to schedule an appointment.
